Famille Alain Jaume

France

Alain Jaume is a long-established family estate in the Rhône Valley, rooted in Châteauneuf-du-Pape since 1826 and still run by the fifth and sixth generations of the Jaume family. Alain Jaume works alongside his children, with Christophe involved in winemaking and Sébastien in the commercial side. The domaine farms vineyards across Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, Côtes du Rhône, Vacqueyras and other Rhône appellations. Viticulture is certified organic, including Ecocert and Agriculture Biologique certification, with practices such as light plowing, vegetal compost, green harvesting, manual leaf removal and hand harvesting. In the cellar, wines are handled with a low-intervention approach, using old barrels, barriques or concrete vats and light clarification to preserve freshness and vitality.
