Domaine Lignères Lathenay is a family-owned estate in Siran, Minervois, run by owner-winemaker Frédéric Lignères. Working 18 hectares planted to Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault and Mourvèdre, he personally oversees the vineyard work, winemaking, bottling and marketing. Since 2010, the domaine has avoided chemical fertilizers, uses goblet pruning and limits yields to around 35 hl/ha. Grapes are processed in a buried, gravity-fed cellar to minimise handling and provide natural temperature control. The estate produces AOC Minervois and Minervois La Livinière wines, using natural vinification and manual punching down, and bottles its production at the domaine.
