Domaine Capelanel is a fifth-generation Dauliac family estate in Cahors, cultivated since 1878 and now managed by Sébastien Dauliac. Its limited-quantity wines come from over 70-year-old Malbec vines planted on iron-rich siderolithic soils. The domaine follows a natural, low-intervention approach, with minimal oak and some amphora aging. Family ownership, longstanding vineyard heritage, and a focus on sustainable practices define this small-scale producer, although it has no formal organic or biodynamic certification.
