Château Sipian is a three-generation family estate in Valeyrac, in the Médoc near the Gironde, managed by Frédéric Mehaye. Its 25 hectares lie on gravel soils and produce red, white, and rosé wines. Classified as Cru Bourgeois, the estate combines its Médoc setting with a deliberately contemporary approach, expressed through its “Le Design du Vin” philosophy: fresh, vibrant, precise wines intended for sharing rather than rigid tradition. SIPIAN emphasizes purity, tension, minerality, and modern presentation, and is HVE certified. The family’s history includes direct sales to wine merchants, the introduction of Sémillon in 2015, and a renewed generational direction from 2014 onward. Vineyard visits, tastings, and events reflect its open, convivial character.
