Castello di Radda is based in Radda in Chianti, in the heart of Tuscany’s Chianti Classico, where cool temperatures, high diurnal variation and steep, skeletal soils suit Sangiovese. Its 40 hectares in Radda and Gaiole have been entirely organic since 2020, with manual work, low yields, parcel-specific agronomy and a strong focus on biodiversity, erosion control, dry-stone walls and water management. An underground cellar minimizes environmental impact and maintains natural temperature regulation. Winemaking uses long, gentle fermentations and macerations, separate parcel vinification, large-format barrels and patient bottle ageing, aiming to express each soil and vintage through fresh, complex and elegant wines. The estate also offers tastings, organic-viticulture tours and vineyard experiences.
