Producer

Cantine Damilano

Italy

Damilano is a historic family-owned producer in Piedmont’s Barolo zone, founded in 1890 by Giuseppe Borgogno and today led by Giacomo Damilano’s grandchildren, Paolo, Mario and Guido. The estate is rooted in Nebbiolo and works with notable Barolo crus including Cannubi, Liste, Brunate, Cerequio and Raviole, each highlighted for distinct soils and exposures. The family emphasizes respect for the Langhe territory, sustainable farming and old vines, with a philosophy that links environmental care to responsible production and work. Winemaking is overseen by Guido Damilano alongside consulting enologists, combining family continuity with contemporary expertise.
