Le Ragose is a second-generation, family-owned estate in Negrar, Valpolicella Classico, acquired by Arnaldo and Marta Galli in 1969 and now managed by their sons Paolo and Marco. The estate practices dry-farmed, hand-harvested viticulture on steep, terraced slopes, with sustainable practices noted on the label. Its traditional, low-intervention wines are fermented with indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. Grapes for Amarone are dried for appassimento before the wine is aged for 7–8 years in large Slavonian oak casks. The estate’s wines carry DOC Amarone della Valpolicella Classico certification.
