Domaine La Luminaille is a family-owned estate in Rasteau, in the northern Vaucluse, run by fifth-generation vigneronne Julie Paolucci. Its organically certified vineyards lie on Mediterranean clay-limestone, marl, blue and grey clay, and stony soils, with woodland, hedges, olive trees and beehives supporting rich biodiversity. The domaine practices low-yield, largely manual viticulture and makes terroir-focused blends rather than varietal-driven wines. Winemaking is low intervention, using indigenous yeasts, minimal sulfur and stainless steel, cement, oak foudres or amphora. The resulting wines are described as fresh, elegant and unmanipulated, expressing the contrasting terroirs of Rasteau.
