Domaine Huguenot

France

Domaine Huguenot is a family-run estate in Marsannay-la-Côte, at the gateway to Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, owned and managed by Valérie and Philippe Huguenot. With vineyards in Marsannay, Fixin and Gevrey-Chambertin, the domaine produces Pinot Noir reds and Chardonnay whites from varied limestone, marl, clay and stony soils. The family has cultivated vines for several generations, with roots dating to 1800, and works alongside a loyal, experienced team. Organic farming has been practiced since the 2019 harvest, following a renewed Ecocert certification after an earlier interruption caused by severe frost and mildew pressure. Vineyard work is adapted parcel by parcel, with manual harvesting and careful sorting. Winemaking combines traditional methods with modern temperature-controlled vats, indigenous yeasts, wood aging, partial whole-cluster fermentation and minimal filtration.
