Domaine Gassier

France

Domaine Gassier is a fifth-generation, family-owned estate in Costières de Nîmes, operated by Michel and Tina Gassier, with their daughter Isabel involved in the transition to regenerative farming. Overlooking the Camargue, its certified-organic vineyards combine Rhône galets, iron-rich clay, chalk and limestone, with Mediterranean breezes helping preserve freshness. The estate is among France’s first certified regenerative vineyard estates, using cover crops, flowering prairies, no-till practices, reforestation and other measures focused on soil health and biodiversity. Michel Gassier’s minimal-intervention approach seeks intimate expressions of site and variety, emphasizing balance, minerality, elegance and freshness. Wines include single-vineyard and varietal bottlings, with careful manual harvesting and gentle cellar work.
