Domaine Cacheux is a four-generation, family-run Burgundy estate originating with François Blée in Vosne-Romanée in the early twentieth century. Gérald Cacheux has directed Domaine René Cacheux et Fils since taking over in 2004, following 18 years of experience at regional wine estates. The domaine is HVE-certified and follows responsible viticulture, including hand-harvesting, immediate vineyard sorting, herbicide-free soil management, light grass cover, preservation of beneficial insects, and sexual confusion for grape-moth control. Natural canopy aeration helps reduce the need for anti-rot treatments, reflecting a careful, environmentally conscious approach to vineyard work.
