Château La Cardonne is a historic Cru Bourgeois estate on the highest plateau of the Médoc, with over three centuries of history. Its 45–55 hectares of vines, originally planted by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), are now largely 30–40 years old and planted to 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. The estate has practiced sustainable viticulture for over twenty years, holding HVE level 3 and Terra Vitis certifications. Managed by Magali Guyon for over two decades, the focus is on precision, expressing the terroir, and blending modernity with tradition, including aging in oak barrels and an underground cellar.
