Cantina Pizzolato is a fifth-generation family winery in Villorba, Treviso, and among the early Italian adopters of organic viticulture, certified since 1991. Led by Settimo Pizzolato, it focuses on organic Prosecco from hand-picked Glera, made with the Charmat method, while also pursuing research into PIWI resistant varieties and wines without added sulfites. Sustainability is central to the estate’s philosophy, with photovoltaic energy, micro-irrigation, water purification and reuse, waste reduction, and lower-impact packaging.
