Founded in 1992 by a collective of vinegrowers, Piedemonte is based in Olite, Navarra, and works with vineyards in the Ribera Alta sub-zone, including Olite, Beire, Cadreita and Villafranca. Its non-irrigated vineyards span varied clay-loam and stony soils, supporting native varieties such as Tempranillo, Garnacha, Viura and Moscatel de Grano Menudo alongside international grapes. The winery combines tradition with modern, temperature-controlled facilities and oak ageing, under the direction of Marian Vitrian Serna. BRC and IFS2020 certifications support its quality and food-safety standards, while environmental initiatives include waste management, biodegradable products, biological pest control and energy optimization. Piedemonte also supports local social projects and offers guided tastings in Olite.
