Scheuermann is a family-owned estate in the Pfalz run by brothers Gabriel and Simon Scheuermann, who took over from their parents as teenagers. Founded in 2009, the estate converted to organic farming in 2012 and is now Demeter-certified biodynamic, with certified organic status as well. Their farming includes lunar-calendar preparations, reduced copper use, and cover crops to support soil health and the vineyard microbiome. Gabriel handles the cellar while Simon leads vineyard work. Much of the fruit is sold to cooperatives, with only the best parcels bottled under the Scheuermann label, highlighting a focused, quality-driven approach.
