Vigneti Massa

Italy

Vigneti Massa is a family-run estate in Piedmont’s Colli Tortonesi, owned and led by winemaker Walter Massa. The domaine farms 22–35 hectares across eight parcels in the hills around Monleale Alto, producing about 156,000 bottles annually. It focuses on Timorasso whites—a variety that nearly vanished to phylloxera but has seen a revival—alongside reds from Croatina, Barbera, Freisa and Nebbiolo. Farming is conventional, certified with a Press & Shelf Talkers label, and the family remains hands-on in both vineyard work and hospitality.
