Rutherford Wine Company is a family-owned Napa winery in California, owned by the Terlato family and operated through the Terlato Wine Group under Bill and John Terlato. Acquired by the family in 1996, it farms estate vineyards and is certified sustainable by the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance, reflecting a three-generation commitment to environmentally responsible practices. Founding winemaker Phil Baxter helped establish the winery’s early style.
