Riecine is a long-established Chianti Classico estate in Gaiole, Tuscany, founded in 1971 by John Dunkley and Palmina Abbagnano. The estate is devoted to Sangiovese and is known for organically certified vineyards farmed with attention to soil health and biodiversity. Notes consistently highlight a low-intervention approach in both vineyard and cellar, including spontaneous fermentations with native yeasts and use of unglazed concrete tanks, with aging in concrete, large cask and foudre. Alessandro Campatelli leads the wines and has worked with consultant Carlo Ferrini. Across the sources, Riecine is presented as a focused, artisanal producer whose style emphasizes transparency, elegance and a clear expression of the Gaiole terroir.
