Domaine Pascal Prunier Bonheur is a family-run estate based in Meursault, Burgundy, led by fifth-generation winemaker Pascal Prunier and his wife Christine Bonheur, who renamed the domaine in 1983. Their parcels are spread across Saint-Romain, Auxey-Duresses, Meursault, Monthélie, Pommard and Beaune, with a focus on expressing varied terroirs. The domaine follows reasoned viticulture without certification, working soils, reducing treatments, and using organic methods where possible, with attention to the lunar calendar in both vineyard and cellar. Pascal’s approach is careful and traditional: harvest decisions are based on ripeness and acidity, fermentations use indigenous yeasts, and the wines are aged in barrel with modest new oak. Their philosophy emphasizes passion, respect, humility, and that the vintage is made first in the vineyard.
