Masseria Cuturi is a historic estate in Manduria, Puglia, founded in 1881 by Tommaso Schiavoni Tafuri. Its Conca d’Oro vineyard, near the Ionian Sea and within a protected natural setting, is planted mainly with ancient Primitivo clones alongside other native varieties. The estate farms organically, with ICEA certification, avoiding synthetic treatments while using cover crops, handwork, renewable energy and measures to protect biodiversity. Grapes are vinified and bottled on-site, close to the vineyards, in small tanks that allow individual parcels to be monitored and micro-vinified separately. Wood aging is used moderately to preserve the wines’ natural character. The historic masseria, surrounded by ancient olive groves and forest, combines a strong agricultural heritage with hospitality, tastings and educational activities focused on local, zero-kilometer products and environmental sustainability.
