Le Pianure is a fourth-generation, family-run estate of the Stocco family in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Its wines come from a single flat vineyard at 40 metres above sea level, planted in the gravelly, stony and chalky soils known locally as “Grave.” The range includes Prosecco, Friulano, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Refosco and Pinot Nero. Winemaking focuses on soft pressing, stainless-steel fermentation and lees ageing, with no oak influence, preserving freshness, fruit purity and varietal character. Andrea Stocco is the current representative, alongside Daniela and Paola Stocco.
