Domaine Saladin is a multigenerational family estate in Saint-Marcel-d’Ardèche, in the southern Rhône Valley, with a winegrowing tradition documented since 1422 and spanning 21 generations. Sisters Elisabeth and Marie-Laurence Saladin run the organically certified estate, which farms 18 hectares planted to 13 Mediterranean grape varieties. Their terroir-focused wines reflect the diversity of local soils and varieties. Vineyard work follows traditional practices, while the cellar favors spontaneous wild-yeast fermentation, minimal additions, and very little sulfur.
