Domaine Ogereau is a fifth-generation family estate in Anjou, Loire Valley, run by Emmanuel Ogereau and his wife Gwenaëlle. Emmanuel, the domaine’s winemaker, studied viticulture and oenology at the University of Bordeaux and gained experience at Château Latour before returning to the family estate. The vineyards span parcels with schist, sandstone and spilite soils, and the domaine produces hand-harvested Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Grolleau Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and rosé. Farming follows sustainable and organic principles, including cover cropping, green pruning and leaf thinning, though the estate is not formally certified.
