Founded in 2001, Ravensworth is a family-owned and operated winery in Murrumbateman, Canberra District, run by Bryan, Jocelyn and David Martin. The boutique producer makes small-batch estate, regional, single-site and limited-release wines from its own vineyard and selected growers. Bryan Martin leads an experimental, textural approach, working with varieties including Riesling, Shiraz, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, Fiano and Grüner Veltliner. Winemaking is chemical-free and additive-free, allowing fruit and microflora to express themselves naturally. The straw-bale cellar contains large oak barrels, ceramic eggs, Italian amphorae and concrete monoliths, supporting extended maturation and diverse styles. Ravensworth has no formal sustainability certification noted.
