Producer

Marie Thibault

France

Marie Thibault is a very small, certified-organic producer in Azay-le-Rideau, in France’s Loire Valley. As sole proprietor, Marie makes tiny quantities of primarily Chenin Blanc and Gamay-based wines from hand-harvested grapes grown on white clay and limestone soils rich in flint. Her low-intervention approach includes ancestral pét-nat methods, no added SO₂, and unfined, unfiltered bottling, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainable, natural winemaking.
