Le Marognole

Italy

Le Marognole is a small family-run winery founded in 2004 in Valgatara, in the Marano valley at the heart of Valpolicella Classica. Its hillside vineyards, planted exclusively with native Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, lie on calcareous soils and include traditionally terraced areas marked by dry-stone “marogne” walls. The family follows the entire production process personally, from manual harvesting and careful grape selection to natural appassimento in the fruttaio and temperature-controlled fermentation. The winery’s aim is to preserve and transmit the traditional flavors of Valpolicella, producing wines from the area’s characteristic grapes.
