Clos de Lôm

Clos de Lôm is a fourth-generation family estate in Fontanars dels Alforins, Valencia, owned by the Dupuy du Lôme family since 1836 and currently directed by Lucía Serratosa. Its vineyards lie in the Valle dels Alforins, around 600 metres above sea level and 55 km from the Mediterranean, where clay-calcareous soils, continental conditions and maritime influence shape the wines. The estate focuses on indigenous varieties including Monastrell, Garnacha, Malvasía and Tempranillo, cultivated in dry-farmed bush vines with manual harvesting and careful parcel selection. Winemaking combines traditional, respectful viticulture with modern, low-intervention techniques, including slow fermentation and lees ageing. The wines are produced as expressive Mediterranean monovarietals under D.O.P. Valencia. A 100 kW photovoltaic installation supports renewable-energy self-consumption, alongside environmentally considerate vineyard practices.
