Château Croix-Mouton

France

Château Croix-Mouton is a Bordeaux estate owned and operated by the Janoueix family since Jean-Philippe Janoueix acquired it in 1997. Its vineyards are farmed with biodiversity-friendly and sustainable practices, including grass in alternate rows, de-leafing, and trials of sulphur-free wines, although the estate holds no formal certifications. Jean-Philippe Janoueix leads the winemaking with consulting oenologist Michel Rolland. Alongside its main production, the estate makes a limited high-end cuvée from 1.4 hectares, reflecting a focus on expressing distinct vineyard parcels.
