Bodegas Carchelo is a family-run winery founded in 1990 in Jumilla, Murcia, at the foot of the Sierra del Carche. The Abellán Guardiola family has a long agricultural history and remains closely involved in the project. Working vineyards across several Jumilla sites, Carchelo focuses on Monastrell alongside Syrah, Garnacha and Airén. Viticulture is organic, sustainable and low-intervention, with hand harvesting, natural yields and respect for the environment. The wines are organic and vegan, expressing the high-altitude Mediterranean terroir through artisanal, minimally interventionist winemaking. The range also includes artisan vermouth and distinctive projects such as underwater-aged wine.
