Weingut Brüder Dr. Becker is a family-run estate in Ludwigshöhe, Rheinhessen, led by Lotte Pfeffer-Müller and Hans Müller. The winery has practiced organic viticulture since 1978 and biodynamic farming under Demeter, avoiding herbicides and synthetic pesticides while emphasizing biodiversity and holistic agriculture. A VDP member since 1971 and founding member of ECOVIN, it farms vineyards on loess, limestone, gravel and sand. Riesling, Silvaner, Scheurebe and Spätburgunder are harvested by hand and made with spontaneous fermentation, natural sedimentation, extended yeast ageing and late bottling. The wines are intended to express their grape variety, soil and origin, from estate wines through VDP.GROSSES GEWÄCHS, alongside the unsulfited PURE natural-wine line. The family has cultivated Scheurebe since the 1940s.
