Bodegas y Viñedos La Senda is an independent bodega in Castilla y León, privately owned and operated by winemaker Diego Losada, who established its newly built winery in 2016. Its organically farmed vineyards comprise 15 parcels of 60–90-year-old bush vines at around 650 metres, rooted in clay soils with slate and trace minerals. Losada follows an extremely low-intervention, natural philosophy, using no pumps, additives, commercial enological products, or sulfur dioxide. Fermentation takes place in unlined concrete vats, with ageing in older oak or chestnut casks, aiming to preserve the vineyard’s natural character.
