Yalumba is Australia's oldest family-owned winery, founded in 1849 in the Barossa Valley and now in its sixth generation. It is known for its historic vineyards, including some of the world's oldest Shiraz and Grenache vines, and its unique on-site cooperage, the only one in the Southern Hemisphere. The winery practices sustainable viticulture, is 100% accredited by Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, and employs minimal intervention winemaking. Yalumba pioneered Viognier in Australia and produces iconic wines like The Signature and The Caley, often using high-grade cork closures for its premium collections.
