Petilia is a family-run estate in Campofiorito, Altavilla Irpinia, owned and operated by siblings Roberto and Teresa Bruno. They cultivate native Campanian varieties including Greco, Fiano, Falanghina and Aglianico across varied clay, volcanic, rocky and limestone soils, with vineyards reaching roughly 600 metres in altitude. Their approach emphasizes organic and eco-sustainable cultivation, respect for soil and natural processes, hand harvesting and low yields. Roberto oversees winemaking while Teresa manages the winery. White and rosé grapes are softly pressed whole, and fermentations are conducted at low temperatures to preserve varietal character. Whites are refined in stainless steel and bottle, while reds mature in French oak tonneaux before extended bottle ageing. The estate’s wines include Greco di Tufo, Fiano di Avellino, Falanghina, Aglianico and Taurasi, including fruit from a distinctive volcanic-lapilli site in Torre le Nocelle.
