Luigi Baudana is a historic micro-producer based in Serralunga d’Alba in Piedmont, focused primarily on Barolo from its historic vineyards. Since 2009, the estate has been owned and managed by the Vaira family through G.D. Vajra, with Luigi and Fiorina Baudana retaining the legacy name and remaining involved in the winemaking alongside Giuseppe Vaira and other members of the Vajra family. The vineyards have been farmed under Vajra’s organic protocol since 2009 and are certified organic and sustainable. The estate is known for its artisanal, garagiste scale and for a careful stewardship that links the Baudana legacy with the Vaira family’s custodianship.
