Lucignano is a small, independently owned Tuscan producer in Chianti Colli Fiorentini, run by Pierre and his partner. Its vineyard management follows an integrated approach, using copper- and sulfur-based treatments only when necessary, avoiding synthetic fertilizers, and applying manure only when the soil is ploughed before planting. Sulfur dioxide use is kept to a minimum, although no formal certifications are mentioned. The estate produces approximately 120,000 bottles annually from around one hectare of vines.
