Founded in 1900 in Chavignol, Domaine Hubert Brochard remains rooted in its Brochard family heritage while, since 2022, sharing ownership with Maison Bollinger. Its fragmented vineyards extend across seven Sancerre villages, with Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir planted on Terres de Silex, Terres Blanches and Terres de Caillottes, including steep parcels such as Côte des Monts Damnés and Cul de Beaujeu. Vineyard work is manual, with HVE certification, organic certification noted, and ongoing conversion toward full organic certification. The team takes a detailed, parcel-by-parcel approach, adapting care to each soil and vine while minimizing intervention in the cellar. Separate vinification in small vats and tailored ageing in stainless steel, concrete, barrels or amphorae aim to preserve each site’s identity. Led by Rodrigo Zamorano alongside Anne-Sophie Brochard and Matthieu Franchini, the wines are presented as Classiques, Terroirs and Parcellaires, marked by aromatic finesse, complexity and delicate texture.
