Fantini Farnese is an Abruzzo producer in the Moro River Valley, on the river’s northern slope, and forms part of the Fantini Group based in Ortona. Its estate vineyards are planted at 2,500–3,500 vines per hectare, with vines averaging around 20 years old and some older parcels reaching 35–40 years. The winery emphasizes minimal chemical treatments, hand-picked fruit, and single-vineyard vinification. Sources also note organic-certified wines within the range, with some bottles listed as vegan and vegetarian. Ownership is corporate rather than family-run: Fantini Farnese sits within a wider southern Italian group that was acquired by Platinum Equity in 2020.
