Dominus Estate is a California estate founded in 1982 and wholly owned since 1995 by Christian Moueix, whose long experience in Bordeaux and Napa informs a philosophy of elegance, balance, and site expression. Centered on the historic Napanook Vineyard, the estate makes wines exclusively from its own fruit, with dry farming as the foundation of its approach. The vineyards are CCOF organic certified and hold Napa Green Land and Winery accreditations, with broader work in biodiversity, creek restoration, and environmental stewardship. In the cellar, Dominus emphasizes meticulous, minimalist handling, from hand sorting to gentle extraction, to express the vineyard’s terroir with purity and precision.
