Domaine des Garances is a family estate established in 1640 in Suzette, Vaucluse, surrounded by the Dentelles de Montmirail, Mont Ventoux and Mont Saint Amand. The estate converted to organic farming in 2010 and received certification in 2013. Its vineyards grow on Triassic rock, with soils ranging from ochre to violet hues. Heavy, compact soils contribute structure, while lighter, well-draining soils produce supple, fruity wines.
