Founded by Giovanni Cossetti in 1891 in Castelnuovo Belbo, Piedmont, Cossetti remains a fourth-generation family winery, now led by Clementina Cossetti with Maria Emma and Giulia. Rooted in the Monferrato, its vineyards feature vines averaging over 30 years old, low yields, and the region’s biodiversity, with Barbera and Moscato among the principal varieties. The family combines careful vineyard and cellar work with a balance of tradition and innovation, using both modern technology and traditional oak aging. Cossetti also operates under the Equalitas sustainability standard, with ongoing environmental, social, and economic improvement initiatives.
