Château Rauzan-Ségla

France

Château Rauzan-Ségla is a historic Second Growth estate in Margaux on the left bank of Bordeaux, near the Gironde estuary. Owned by Chanel and the Wertheimer family since 1994, it is led by Nicolas Audebert with François Baudoux as technical director. The estate is defined by a complex, fragmented vineyard of gravel, clay and limestone soils, and by meticulous parcel-by-parcel and intra-parcel work. Its viticulture and winemaking emphasize observation, precise harvest timing, tailored vinifications, careful extraction and blending that adapts to each vintage to reveal the terroir. The property is in organic conversion, with vineyards now certified organic.
