Château La Grave is a family-run estate in Badens, in the Languedoc’s Minervois region, managed by Jean-François Orosquette. The Orosquette family left the local cooperative in the 1970s to establish their own winery, continuing a viticultural tradition associated with the estate’s historic priory origins. The vineyards are farmed using Agriculture Raisonnée, with Terra Vitis certification since the 2019 vintage. Wines are made under AOP Minervois and IGP designations, including IGP Hauts de Badens and IGP Oc. The estate is particularly known for white wines based on Maccabeu, a variety found in its neglected vineyards, while also producing refined reds and rosés. The next generation remains involved in the vineyard and winery.
