Casanova di Neri is a family-owned estate in Montalcino, Tuscany, founded in 1971 by Giovanni Neri and now run by his son Giacomo. The winery focuses on terroir-driven Brunello di Montalcino, producing about 18,000 cases annually from 63 hectares of vineyards across seven distinct sites. Emphasizing minimal intervention, the estate practices sustainable viticulture without irrigation and uses gravity-flow winemaking in a hillside cellar. While not certified organic, it maintains agricultural diversity with olive groves and wheat fields. The portfolio includes single-vineyard expressions like Tenuta Nuova, all crafted from a proprietary massal selection of Sangiovese to reflect each vineyard’s unique character while retaining a recognizable house style.
