Terra d'Aligi

Terra d’Aligi is the premium brand of the Spinelli family, who have produced wine for generations in Abruzzo’s Val di Sangro. Based in Atessa, in the Frentane Hills, the estate is closely connected to its territory and focuses on traditional Abruzzese varieties including Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino, Passerina and Cococciola. Its Trebbiano d’Abruzzo is grown on calcareous-clayey soils at 200–350 metres, with south-eastern exposure. The wines are made from selected grapes and aged with careful timing to express quality and personality. Names such as Tatone and Tolos draw on local dialect and the pastoral heritage of transhumance. Alongside its regional focus, Terra d’Aligi actively presents its wines internationally through events including Vinitaly and ProWein.
