Producer

Sogevinus

Portugal

Sogevinus is a major Douro wine group with approximately 360 hectares of vineyards and a broad portfolio spanning Port and still wines. It owns historic houses including Kopke, Burmester, Cálem, Barros, Curva and Tavedo, with a particular focus on oak-aged Colheita Ports and premium still wines. Its approach combines respect for its origins with innovation, technical rigor and close monitoring of grape maturity. In the challenging 2024/25 growing season, careful management of water stress and controlled vinification helped preserve fruit quality despite reduced yields. No sustainability certifications or specific winemaker names are reported.
