Vera de Estenas is a family-owned estate in Utiel-Requena, Valencia, founded by Francisco Martínez Bermell and now led by fourth-generation owner-winemaker Félix Martínez. Recognised as a Pago Vinícola since 2013, the estate works its own vineyards on calcareous clay and stony-limestone soils, with a distinctive local microclimate. Farming is certified organic, with notes also highlighting traditional and regenerative viticulture. The winery focuses on artisanal production, especially from old-vine Bobal, using spontaneous fermentations, minimal sulfur and aging in reclaimed French oak. Its approach combines generational continuity, careful estate-grown fruit, and sustainable, natural-minded winemaking.
