Tiefenbrunner

Tiefenbrunner is a long-established family winery in South Tyrol, run by the fifth and sixth generations from its historic Castel Turmhof estate in Kurtatsch/Entiklar. The family farms its own vineyards across a wide altitude range and also works with long-standing small growers in the region. Farming centers on sustainability and site expression, with reduced yields, herbicide-free estate vineyards, cover crops, gentle pruning, and environmentally conscious crop protection; the winery also covers most of its electricity needs with hydro and solar power. Oenologist Stephan Rohregger emphasizes a terroir-driven approach, linking soil, climate, grape variety, and careful cellar work. The range is led by white wines, with styles spanning fresh, pure bottlings to more structured site-focused selections.
