Marinot Verdun, also known as Cave de Mazenay, is a Burgundy producer and négociant based in Saint-Sernin-du-Plain, at the heart of the Côtes du Couchois. Founded in 1963, the house has vinified Burgundy wines for more than 50 years and produces its own cuvées, including Blason de Vair from the vines of Château de Couches. It directly farms 20 hectares and works with Aligoté, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir from a broad range of Burgundy climats. The estate emphasizes respect for Burgundian tradition, terroir, and people, managing vinification, élevage, filtration, and bottling in-house. Its range extends from accessible regional wines to prestigious appellations, including wines acquired at the Hospices de Beaune auction. The cave also supports local growers with technical and oenological services and promotes the Côtes du Couchois nationally and internationally.
