Ghislain Kohut is a family-run Burgundy domaine based in Couchey, at the foot of the Côte de Nuits. Passed through three generations, it is now owned and operated by Ghislain Kohut, who farms parcels across appellations including Marsannay, Fixin, Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée and Bourgogne Côte d’Or. The estate works with old vines, manual harvesting, low yields and separate parcel vinification. Its environmentally focused approach includes biodiversity protection, horse ploughing and HVE Level 3 certification. Ghislain’s natural, low-intervention philosophy emphasizes slow vinification and expressing each terroir, with red, white and rosé wines made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
