Domaine des Maravilhas

France

Domaine des Maravilhas is a family-run estate in Saint-Laurent des Arbres, between Nîmes and Avignon in the southern Rhône, owned and operated by Jean-Frédéric and Morgane Bistagne. Its vineyards in the Gard and Vaucluse have been farmed organically since 1992 and biodynamically since 2004, with biodiversity supported by unplanted areas and nesting boxes. The estate produces several Southern Rhône appellations, including Côtes du Rhône Villages Laudun, Lirac, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Winemaking emphasizes parcel-based terroir expression, manual harvesting, indigenous yeasts, limited sulfur and copper, and aging in concrete and/or oak. The wines are made by Jean-Frédéric with support from Morgane and a small team.
